Have you always been interested in learning more about hypnosis, learning to use hypnosis, and being able to add it to your list of specialties and use it with your clients and for yourself? Maggie Minsk is delighted to announce that she will be offering a hypnosis certification course this FALL 2017, through the National Guild of Hypnotists and sponsored by the LPCANC in Raleigh/Wake Forest!
Hypnosis is becoming more widely used these days due to research in the field of neuroscience showing its many uses and benefits. HYPNOSIS is a natural, every-day occurrence that as a counselor you are probably informally using in your practice already and as a layperson probably hearing more about every day! The more we know about it, the more we can increase our effectiveness and use it to our advantage both professionally and personally.
As a clinician specializing in Borderline Personality Disorder, Dialectical Behavior Therapy and the severe and often multiple traumas that go along with that, Maggie Minsk uses hypnosis daily as an adjunct to treatment and an additional modality to therapy to increase client success. Hypnosis has been used for decades in Europe as part of their Human Givens Therapy approach, which has proven to be one of the most, if not the most effective therapeutic technique in existence today. LPCANC will be introducing Human Givens to the U.S. at its October Conference in Raleigh. Because Hypnosis is a core element of Human Givens, becoming certified in Hypnosis will greatly prepare you to learn this scientifically based technique.
Maggie will be sharing how she uses hypnosis in her practice, uses it personally, and how to work with individuals and groups, but you also need not be a therapist or have any special degree in order to get this certification – please contact Maggie with specific questions regarding eligibility.
This course is geared specifically toward preparing you to use hypnosis after the first weekend!
The course spans three weekends (75 hours) of workshops done face-to-face, for a total of seven days:
- September 29-30 & October 1, 2017
- November 4-5, 2017
- December 2-3, 2017
